چکیده

The High-Resolution Imaging Camera (HiRIC) onboard China’s Tianwen-1 Mars probe aims to acquire detailed imagery of the Martian surface comprehensively investigate its topography and geomorphology. HiRIC is a pushbroom camera comprising three CCDs simultaneously achieve sub-meter resolution large swath. However, processing images using conventional photogrammetric workflow difficult due shifts narrow overlapping among CCD lines. This paper presents novel approach for precision topographic mapping that incorporates 1) fitting initial Rational Polynomial Coefficients (RPCs) from position pointing data, 2) deep-learning-based method tie-point matching between adjacent cross-orbit images, 3) bundle adjustment multiple tripled-epipolar image generation ensure inner-orbit consistency, 4) block orbit 5) dense space intersection based on refined RPCs generate Digital Elevation Models (DEMs). Experimental analyses were conducted covering landing region Zhurong rover. results revealed subpixel accuracy was achieved residuals multiple-CCD or multiple-orbit images. Comparison with reference data (HiRISE MOLA DEMs) mean deviation less than 7 m in terms geometric subtle details DEM. presented offers reliable solution new dataset mapping.

Topographic and Atmospheric Pressure Mapping of Mars

Introduction: The topography of Mars remained unknown until the first orbiting spacecraft, since early ground-based observations of Mars displayed only variations due to albedo which correspond to changes in surface composition and texture rather than changes in surface altitude. However a technique was being developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s to determine the Martian topography by mea...

Precision Processing of Hirise Stereo Orbital Images for Topograpic Mapping on Mars

To build HiRISE image network with the best possible precision and accuracy, technical issues involving sensor geometry and absolute positioning need to be resolved. High-frequency random patterns, or “jitter”, in the rotation angles cause disagreements between HiRISE CCDs. To generate seamless topographic products, it is important to achieve coherence in the exterior orientation parameters bet...

Topographic Mapping Capability Analysis of Mars Exploration Rover 2003 Mission Imagery

This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the topographic mapping capabilities of images from the Mars Exploration Rover 2003 (MER) mission. The 3D measurement accuracies of Pancam (panoramic camera) and Navcam (navigation camera) stereo pairs are estimated using basic photogrammetric principles. The mapping capabilities of single-site panoramas, multi-site panoramas, and wide-baseline st...

Rigorous Photogrammetric Processing of High Resolution Satellite Imagery

This paper deals with investigations on the geometric reconstruction and sensor calibration of satellite–based optical imaging systems using linear arrays in pushbroom mode, like SPOT, IRS–1C and MOMS–2P/PRIRODA. The geometric model of the sensor is based on an extension of a SPOT model developed by V. Kratky. This geometric solution combines the principle of rigorous photogrammetric bundle for...
